  • topic (n.) subject that people think, write, or talk about

  • debate (n.) a discussion in which reasons for and against something are brought out

  • evade (v.) get away from by trickery or cleverness

– The police have assured the public that the escaped prisoners will not evade recapture for long.

  • reform (v.) make better; improve by removing faults

– Only laws that force companies to reform will clear the dangerous vapors from our air.

  • procession (n.) a line of people or vehicles moving as part of a ceremony
