This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use the Selvo – Mental Wellness App (the “App”).

  1. Information We Collect

Selvo is designed to work without requiring an account. The App does not collect or transmit personal information such as your name, email address, or passwords.

Wellness data you create within the App — including mood check-ins, journal entries, habit tracking logs, saved content, and category preferences — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to, stored on, or accessible from any external server operated by us.

  1. Data Retention Policy

We do not store, retain, or server-host any user data. All wellness data you create (mood logs, journal entries, habit progress, saved content, preferences) remains strictly on your local device and is never uploaded to our servers.

This data persists on your device until you delete it yourself through the App, clear the App’s data through your device settings, or uninstall the App.

  1. User Data Deletion Rights (Data Erasure)

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete your data through the following methods:

  • In-App Navigation: Go to Settings, where you can clear individual entries (journal, mood history, habits) or reset all App data.
  • Device-Level Deletion: Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage/cache through your device’s app settings will permanently remove all locally stored data.

  1. Advertising and Analytics

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s Advertising ID to serve relevant ads. This is governed by Google’s own privacy practices. You can review Google’s policies and manage your ad preferences at:

We do not control or have access to the data Google’s advertising services collect. Please refer to Google’s privacy policy for details on how this data is used.

  1. How We Use Information

Since the App does not collect personal data on our servers, we do not use personal information for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond enabling the App’s core local features (mood tracking, journaling, habit building, and personalized content feed) directly on your device.

  1. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data with third parties, because we do not collect or store such data ourselves. Third-party services used within the App (such as Google AdMob) operate under their own privacy policies, linked above.

  1. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children. Since the App does not collect personal data on our servers in the first place, no such data is retained.

  1. Security

Because all wellness data is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, the security of this data depends on your device’s own security settings (such as screen lock and device encryption). We recommend keeping your device secured to protect your locally stored information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
